Little rascal, he 💖 looks as if butter wouldn't melt in his mouth. This is one of Charlie's 💖 school photos back in the nineties. He 💖 beamed kindness and understanding, had a knack for sharing or creating good laughs with his quick wit and perspicacity. Fiona Barnes a long-standing close family friend 😘 was in Jersey in July and visited a place called Acorn https://www.acorn.co.je/, where she found a T-shirt that made her think of Charlie’s Garden 🐿️🌳and no doubt you can see why ❗️
Lucy 👵 is chuffed to bits 😀 to have this beautiful garment and was delighted to read about all that Acorn does.: “We provide employment and training for people who have a disability or long-term health condition.”, The charity upcycle/ recycle all sorts, they have amazing wood creations and furniture, loads of plants, a café and they have a training and development scheme. All of this speaks volumes to Lucy 👵 as they are fulfilling many of Charlie’s Garden’s 🐿️🌳 ideals.

Charlie’s Garden 🌳 in France 🇫🇷 is buzzing with bees 🐝. Charlie’s 💖 bed is growing well with his special rose arch at the top end. Lucy chose that rose as it doesn’t have thorns and the flower colour reminds Lucy of Charlie’s 💖hair when he was little; (Rosier de Banks Lutea).
The birds 🐦 swoop down and up to the trees 🌳 and hedges to feed their fledglings. They chatter and sing 🎶 all day bringing much gaiety 😀 to the garden.
There are butterflies 🦋, ants , beetles 🕷️ and lizards 🦎 each and everyone of them has a skittish delight.
The garden is full of hope, joy and life and it is how (we believe) Charlie 💖 had in mind when he made gentle suggestions of his conception how the garden would grow.; creating a little eco paradise 💚.
